How did Beau come into your world?
Beau was a 6 year old rescue from Lonsdale RSPCA. We had one agreement when we went to look to adopt - “no working dogs”.
Safe to say Beau definitely picked us! The moment he locked eyes on us, he was determined that he was meant to come home with us.
How would you describe his personality?
A puppy at heart who loves nothing more than to go for an adventure with his ‘pack’. When we first met Beau he was fairly shy and unsure of himself having come from a difficult background as a forced surrender due to abuse and medical neglect, but now he is super confident and living his life to the fullest!
If he could tell us all something about you, what would he say?
We hope that Beau would say that we took him from an unhappy place and turned his life around giving him a home where he is very loved and safe.
What does he love to do the most?
Cuddle, get neck rubs, and walk on the beach.
What's everyday life like with your boy by your side?
In Beau’s eyes, his duty in life is to watch over his human mum. He is a constant shadow. He is incredibly owner focussed and very loyal. He makes sure we get him out of the house for at least one adventure a day, whether its along the Torrens, to the beach, or out to a cafe.
How has having Beau changed your life?
The house is a home with a dog in the family.
