How did Taxi come into your world?

I did the one thing I said I would never do and bought her from a pet store! I went to an antique furniture store thinking I was going to buy a piece of furniture, having just moved into a house I’d just bought. I ended up popping into the Garden & Pet store a few doors down and there she was. I did walk away to think about it overnight but who was I kidding?! The next day I was on the door step of the store waiting for the owner to arrive. And I never did buy that piece of furniture!

How would you describe her personality?

Checky, super intelligent, gentle & sensitive, up for any adventure (even in her twilight years despite her body telling her otherwise) and extremely loyal.

If she could tell us all something about you, what would she say?

I would hope Taxi would tell everyone I was fun and that she loves how I include her in everything I possibly can. But on the flip side, I think she would complain that I don't give her enough pigs ears.

What does she love to do the most?

Swimming, swimming, swimming!!! Anything water related Taxi just absolutely loves, she’ll do anything so that she can get in the water to swim and splash around.

What's everyday life like with Taxi by your side?

As the saying goes that life is only as good as the company you keep! And she has been the best company. She has blessed me with some of the happiest days. And those morning cuddles she gives are the only way to start each day.
I know I don't have long with her, so time is so super precious at the moment and we are making each and every day count.

How has having Taxi changed your life?

She was the best decision I've ever made. She came into my life when I didn't realise how much I needed her. Over the last 13.5 years she has become the best therapist and we share a very tight and strong bond.
