Bear, Panda, Alex + Nick
How did Bear come into your world?
Bear was from a dinghy pet store and look like a small ewok creature, I made eye contact with him for about 5 seconds and walked away. A week later I was still thinking about him so I called the pet store to ask if he was still available and they said they had just reduced his price, I put a deposit down before I ever even touched him. That night I picked him up and never looked back. As a teacher I have moved all over the state and Bear has always been there when I've been lonely or feeling lost, every house I have ever lived in didn't feel like a home until Bear was with me.
How would you describe his personality?
Bear has always been the most kind, docile, protective dog. He was not a usual puppy he didn't care about toys or food he just wanted to be close to his people and love them. He has always been so good with children and new people following people around to make sure they are safe and protected.
What does he love to do the most?
Bear loved to be with his Panda, I got Panda 2 years after Bear for company and they have been inseparable since; they are the Panda Bear. His favourite thing is to snuggle with Panda and myself and be the little spoon. He also loved snoot kisses and icecream.
If he could tell us all something about you, what would they say?
“I would go on any adventure with you.”
What's everyday life like with Bear by your sides?
Every morning starts with Bear cuddles in bed with kisses, he is always there to greet me home from work and having naps on the floor when school has gotten the better of me.
How has having Bear changed your life?
I've always grown up with dogs but Bear has been my souldog, he has been with me through some of the toughest times of my life, and also watched when I fell in love with my soon to be husband Nick. He has shown me what unconditional love is and shown me that no matter what is happening in the world the love between a dog and there person is so extremely pure.
He has been the apple of my eye, and is adored by anyone who has met him, till we meet again and run into the sunset with Panda, you are and were so loved!
