How did Meli come into your world?

It was a huge coincidence. I was talking to a friend about how I always wanted a female dapple dachshund and she said that her friend’s dog just had a puppy exactly like what I describing! 

How would you describe her personality?

Meli is the boss. She tries to be intimidating when meeting new people and dogs, but when you earn her trust she is the most affectionate little sausage. She loves giving kisses and will follow you around everywhere.

If she could tell us all something about you, what would she say?

“Mum stops what she does to kiss me 100 times a day. I don’t always love it.”

What does she love to do the most?

Meli’s favourite thing to do at home is chewing goat horns, and she loves running on the beach.

What's everyday life like with your girl by your side?

I do life with a little sausage dog following me in every room and climbing on my lap every time I sit down. It’s never lonely! 

How has having Meli changed your life?

Meli has made me more active as she wants to play fetch all the time and loves her walks; but also reminds me to slow down often for a cuddle.
