Buddy, Wylie, Alysha + Jordan

Unfailingly, Autumn brings transformation. We see trees bursting into shades of yellow and orange, the sun lowers in the sky, a light chill fills the air and encourages us to get warm and cosy. Without doubt, my favourite time of year. While normally at this time, at any other point in recent history, we’d be settling down and snuggling up. However, the Corona Virus Pandemic has cornered a lot of us into our homes, and only now in certain places are we starting to cautiously emerge once more.
Alysha and Jordan, with their boys Buddy and Wylie, took me down to the beach, where they spend time together going for walks. We were so incredibly lucky to have timed our session on such a beautiful Autumn day. The cooler weather of the season is still sprinkled with a few sun-filled days, and on such a day in May, the light was delicious enough that I would honestly have licked it if I could.

Alysha and Jordan told me that they each already had their boys before meeting one another - Alysha with Buddy, Jordan with Wylie. The duos came together and their dogs got along famously from the word go.
🎶They knew it was much more than a hunch, That this group would somehow form a family…🎶
Anyway, I digress.

How did Buddy and Wylie come into your world?

Wylie was a giveaway from an unexpected litter and buddy was the runt of his litter. Buddy was the last one left because he looked different to his brothers and sisters with straight white hair as opposed to curly brown hair. We think we won the luck of the draw!

How would you describe their personalities?

Buddy's nickname is the 'snuggle slug' because he is a professional cuddler. Wylie is the fastest, most coordinated dog you've ever seen! His attention is always on the ball. However with saying that Wylie is such a family man, he likes his pack to stick together. Oh, and he loves laying in his sun chair in the mornings like a little old man.

What do they love to do the most?

Chase the ball into the waves at the beach - or eating left over bbq chicken.

If they could tell us all something about you, what would they say?

I'd like to think they’d say we're fun parents! Dad loves to play guitar and sing funny songs to us and mum is always up for a family adventure!

What's everyday life like with your boys by your side?

Fulfilling - because of them we're able to be a little family! They make us laugh every day with their hilarious personalities.
I just love their little routines - each morning Wylie heads out the back door once the sun hits his sun chair to soak up the autumn sun while buddy waits on the couch for his morning coffee cuddle. Once we get home from work they sit perfectly by the garage door waiting to be taken to the beach or park to chase the ball. Then once night time hits they head out the back to do their business then head straight to their beds to be tucked in with their blankets. The life of Buddy and Wylie :D

How has having your dogs changed your life?

They are our best friends. We're constantly taking family adventures, swimming, walking, running or just laying by the beach which we wouldn't do if we didn't have our little besties sitting by the door begging us to leave the house.
